The Middle East Children's Alliance presents Diana Buttu -- legal advisor to the PLO negotiating team with Israel 2000-2005 (and the only woman present); Palestinian commentator on CNN, BBC, MSNBC, Al Jazeera; and currently at the Kennedy School of Government -- speaking on Uprisings in the Arab World, & What's Behind the Negotiations? With special guest performance by Maria Poblet, queer Latina poet (formerly with June Jordan's Poetry for the People) and tenant organizer with Causa Justa/Just Cause.
