Sat, May 16 Copper Queens vs HARD and TRD Bandoleras vs. Safford Roller Derby
It's a Derby Debut!
At 7:00, TRD's reigning home team, the Copper Queens, take on Flagstaff's High Altitude Roller Derby. At 9:00 the Tucson Bandoleras, featuring all TRD's newest additions in our newly designated City Team, will play Safford Roller Derby in a whirlwind 30-minute bout. This is the FIRST TIME since our 2015 restructuring that the Bandos will play! Don't miss it.
Note that our usual start time has been moved from 7:30 to 7:00 (with doors at 6:00) to accommodate the TWO bouts.
Bout 1
Fresh from their win against TRD's VICE Squad, the Copper Queens continue to hone their game. But the H.A.R.D. Dark Sky Starlets have proven themselves to be fast, furious, and focused. They are coming all the way from Flagstaff and they mean business.
Bout 2
Stick around for the debut of TRD's newest skaters! In 2015, TRD designated the Bandoleras as a City Team for new graduates of our Fresh Meat program and experienced skaters who didn't have time to commit to a state team. These ladies have been working hard and are more than ready to show off their new skills in a 30 minute bout against the fun lovin' ladies of Safford Roller Derby.
