Mark's Birthday: SLIME CITY (1989 / 16mm)

Hello friends.

The yearly birthday screenings continue - though sadly this year without Birthday Twins Xtina & Joe.

Please join me and the ghost of Ann B. Davis at the historic Spectacle Theater for a one of a kind evening. We'll be presenting the only known 16mm print of the melt classic SLIME CITY (1989) provided by director Greg Lamberson! Tickets are $10 in order to cover shipping/rental costs.

Local Expert J-Klax (ZAP Cassettes, Anthology Film Archives, etc.) will be manning the projection (so consider bringing him beer & snacks) and there very well might be a special slimy guest in attendance to regale us with tales about the making of the film! Can you believe it?

This is one of my favorites and I hope to see you there! The show will begin around 8:30 and then afterwards we can go to a bar or something! Who knows? WHO CARES?
