Rejoice:Diaspora Dance Theater presents "ICONS," an evening length performance of dance and live music. The evening will feature choreographic works by Oluyinka Akinjiola, Uriah Boyd, and Jamie Minkus.
The Rejoice ensemble will perform Oluyinka's latest works "Phenomenally" and "Oshun, Xica, and the Sambista"
Guest Artists include Donna Mation and Kemba Shannon; live music by Jeff Burres, Simon Lucas, and Andy Sterling; solos performed by Oluyinka Akinjiola and Uriah Boyd.
Presented with the support of the Alembic Co-Production Series of Performance Works NorthWest
Friday June 26th at 7:30pm; Saturday June 27th at 7:30pm, and Sunday June 28th at 5:00pm.
