What does a gal do when her marriage falls apart and her whole world seems to regard her with nothing but scorn and pity? She strikes out on her own and blazes a red hot new trail!
Marilyn, attempting to shake loose from her sad, sheltered ways in small-town Ontario, moves to Amsterdam to try something new...like sushi or pot! (Or casual sex! Shhhh!) Just to give it a go! But when Marilyn befriends a street-smart American, Ellen, and discovers she works in the world's oldest profession, the dark secrets of Marilyn's past resurface and she must learn what it means to finally start over.
