The Oakland Ballet Company presents an exciting season of artistic conversation May 19-21 with FORWARDS!, an innovative new repertory showcasing world premiere works by Artistic Director Graham Lustig, and renowned Bay Area choreographers Amy Seiwert and Sonya Delwaide-Nichols.
The choreographers bring dance beyond the stage in collaboration with local visual artists to foster an artistic dialogue integrating dance, visual art, and spoken word:
- "Response to Change" / Amy Seiwert
- "Words Within Words" / Graham Lustig
- "..." / Sonya Delwaide-Nichols
- "VISTA" / Graham Lustig, a restaging of the critically
acclaimed, jazzy, bold piece accompanied by saxophone
compositions of John Lurie and the Lounge Lizards.

Note: The Laney College campus is easily accessible from Hwy. 880 and BART. Box office opens 1 hour before showtime. For special needs or wheelchair seating, please contact the Oakland Ballet. Late seating is available between dances.
