Small Fruits for the Home Garden
Rick has agreed to come back by popular demand! His program last year on Heirloom Apples grown organically was so popular that we busted right out of our facility. This year we can accommodate all the people who want to attend and learn about other kinds of fruits for the home garden, especially the small fruits. Rick is a master at growing fruits. Homeowners will learn which fruits are easier to grow in a home setting so they can expand the array of diversity available to them in their own backyard.
The Planter's Palette staff has generously offered to allow us time to come early and look around and since they now have a farmer's market right at their nursery in the summer and they also participate in a Winter Market, they are going to set up a fresh Winter market for us in the greenhouse!! Rick Belding and fresh food all in one place-it's hard to curb my enthusiasm or my appetite.
Come prepared to enjoy treats baked with fruits that could be grown home gardens.
