Diversity At The Table 2011 with Heather Headley
Heather Headley, a Broadway Tony Award winning actress and Grammy Award winning singer, will lend her talents to Pace Academy's 2011 Diversity at The Table series. Ms. Headley will be the featured entertainer at the February 17 event held at the Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta in a campaign to raise money for Pace Academy's Diversity Scholars Fund. The dynamic evening begins under the glistening chandeliers of Atlanta's only Five Star-Five Diamond Hotel. Networking and the delicious menu created by Executive Chef Robert Gerstenecker are enhanced by the magical music of Heather Headley.

In 1997, Heather won the role of Nala in the original cast of the "The Lion King." Heather's portrayal was so extraordinary that she was asked to audition for and earned the title role in "Aida," which opened on Broadway in 2000. She won the prestigious Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical, and the coveted Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actress in a Musical. That year she was listed as one of People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People and Essence Magazine's 30 Women To Watch.
