John O'Keefe:Whitman's "Song of Myself"
The Marsh is proud to present John O'Keefe's adaptation of Walt Whitman's "SONG OF MYSELF," a lyrical solo work exploring the intersection between speech and music and between the individual soul and the world surrounding it. "Simply put, "Song of Myself" is a poetic and dramatic tour de force. . . a rare joy to witness," said Todd Carlstro of nytheatre.com after witnessing the world premiere at New York's Public Theater earlier this year.
