Event
Winner's Circle
Winner's Circle will be a 1 on 1 breakin' and all-styles battle. What makes this event unique is how dancers will be eliminated. A concept borrowed from Circle Prinz in Holland, the event will not have pre-lims or quarter finals. Instead, competitors will all be given a number when they sign up and will be chosen for the official battles based on their skills in the open circles. This gives dancers the opportunity to engage with one another free of the constraints of standard competition - the more one shows and proves in the circle, the likelier they'll be picked for competition. Judges will walk around the circles and chose the top 4 dancers from each category to face off in the actual battles. All-styles and breakin' battles will be completely separate to maximize the time for both categories of dancers.
