7 Generations Beyond: A 200 Year Story of Portland

The Village Building Convergence (VBC), in it's seventh year, promotes human-scale community action. VBC7 will work with over 30 private sites, institutions, schools, and nieghborhoods to create community-based projects to enact and empower communities to change the places they live, work, and play. Projects range from cob building and intersection repairs to ecoroof installations and garden construction. VBC7 includes workshops and 9 nights of international, national and local speakers, musician and entertainers. VBC7 is a chance to meet the people in your community through transformation of place and ourselves. This event is primarily planned, designed, organized, built and run by volunteers. Please come and join us!
