Craig Hendee, Executive Director and President of the International Heritage Conservancy will bring his Peregrine Falcon, Alvin to PPB for a very special demonstration. Craig has been a licensed falconer for 47 years, teaching the ancient art of falconry and keeping it alive for future generations.
Cathy Blecker, coordinator of the Vera Meineke Nature Center will join Craig and talk about the birds, give out printed material, show falconry equipment and answer questions. Picture taking will be allowed during this unique presentation.
