Follow the trail for a perennial adventure. Come out with the WSU Master Gardeners to meet the owners of 3 specialty nurseries offering an incredible plant selection and see plants you may not find anywhere else.
Our first stop will be Sebright Gardens, the regions grower of hostas, ferns, epimediums and other varieties of shade perennials. We will have a demonstration on hosta dividing and an opportunity of walk the beautitul bontanical display gardens.
Next stop is Nowlen's Bridge Perennals, where we will discover the diversity and charm of plants well-suited for shady areas. They specialize in unusual perennials, shrubs and trees that are grown in woodland settings for the Cascadia Region.
Our third nursery stop will be at Wild Ginger Farms, whose specialities include alpine rock gardens, select Western Native and woodland plants. The grow hard-to-find perennials such as hardy wild ginger.
