If you care about healthy streams, beaches, and shellfish, you'll be glad to know that the Kitsap Public Health District, Conservation District, and WSU Extension are working on a water quality clean-up project to reduce bacterial pollution. This pollution can come from failing septic systems, leaking sewer lines, pet waste, livestock manure, boat waste, and even wildlife. Are you curious to learn what's being done to find and fix sources of this pollution? Join us to discover what we've found at a public meeting on May 12.
