WEST SIDE STORY     August 20 - September 5, 2015 at The Arts Asylum
Book by Arthur Laurents, music by Leonard Bernstein, lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. Spinning Tree founders Michael Grayman and Andy Parkhurst have a rich history with the show (a combined 9 professional productions, including the 40th anniversary Broadway tour supervised by Jerome Robbins and Laurents), and are delighted to reproduce the original Robbins choreography with an all-local cast.

THE TURN OF THE SCREW     October 15 - November 1, 2015 at Just Off Broadway Theatre
By Jeffrey Hatcher, adapted from the novel by Henry James. Kansas City Premiere! A young governess journeys to a lonely English manor house to care for two recently orphaned children, and realizes that they are not alone. Are they being haunted by ghosts, or by her fevered imagination? James' 1898 gothic thriller is brought to life here with two of KC's finest actors in "a dazzling act of the imagination" (NY Times).

13 THE MUSICAL   February 11-28, 2016 at Just Off Broadway Theatre
Music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown. Kansas City Professional Premiere! Evan Goldman just moved from NYC to small-town Indiana and has to deal with his parents' divorce and his Bar Mitzvah, all while navigating the complicated social circles of a new school. Featuring 13 of KC's brightest teenage stars-to-be in an explosive and heartwarming evening of song and dance. Rated PG-13.

AMADEUS     April 28 - May 15, 2016 at The Arts Asylum
By Peter Shaffer. In 18th century Vienna, court composer Antonio Salieri is highly admired and praiseduntil Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart arrives. This internationally celebrated, Tony Award-winning play (which became an Oscar-winning movie) pits blazing human ambition against heavenly genius in a sumptuous yet intimate production featuring a large cast of local favorites.
