Peace, Love & Happiness
7dancers, a nonprofit professional dance company out of Denver's Cherry Creek Dance, is proud to present its debut performance of "Peace, Love & Happiness" February 11-13 at the Liesl Lighting Showroom in the heart of Denver's Design District. Peace, Love & Happiness celebrates the virtues found in life's most difficult and inspiring moments. The three-act production brings stories surrounding each virtue to life through various forms of dance and other performing arts.
"Peace, Love & Happiness takes the audience through a journey to find life's most precious and elusive gifts. The Liesl Lighting Showroom brings a romantic and contemporary ambience to the show, where light, sound and motion work cooperatively to create a truly unique experience for the audience. We hope those who love the performing arts will make 7dancers part of their Valentine's Day weekend," said Stephanie Prosenjak, artistic director for 7dancers.
Peace, Love & Happiness opens Friday, Feb. 11 at 7:37 p.m., with additional performances on Saturday, Feb. 12 at 3:07 and 7:37 p.m., and the final performance on Sunday, Feb. 13 at 3:07 p.m. The Liesl Lighting Showroom is located at 326 South Broadway in Denver. For the ideal Valentine's Day date night, 7dancers is offering a Parents' Night Out ticket package for the opening night performance on Friday, Feb. 11. Starting at 7 p.m., parents attending the show can take their kids to Cherry Creek Dance for a fun evening of pizza, games and dancing. The performance begins at 7:37 p.m., and still gives parents enough time to grab dinner following the show before picking up the kids. 7dancers performs several original shows each year in the Denver metro area, all of which feature diverse dance styles, musical selections, and cultural and artistic themes. 7dancers consists of a core team of seven professional dancers who have extensively studied, taught and performed various forms of dance.
