Duct Tape & A Dream Festival: DREAM PROGRAM
THE 8TH ANNUAL DUCT TAPE & A DREAM FESTIVAL presented by Roots & Wings Theatrical
DREAM PROGRAM Thursday, May 7 @ 8pm Saturday, May 9 @ 8pm Sunday, May 10 @ 2pm
Existential Magic Eight Ball Written by by Jeremy Kehoe Directed by Lauren Heirigs Featuring Josh Marcantel, Celester Rich, and Joshua Robinson
A frosty hit-man shoved off the straight-and-narrow path struggles to withstand the heat of coming face-to-face with an innocent man convicted of one of his crimes. Will he do the right thing and confess? The right thing to do: that's one of those long, tall, bony questions with lots of thick branches and deep-ass roots.
Vacilando Written by Monica Trausch and The Ephemeral Explorers Directed by Rebecca Cunningham Stage Managed by Kyle Ferguson Featuring Emily Asaro, Erin Hanraty, and Vicki Rodriguez
Vacilando brings to life the world of Francisco, a woman on the verge of the voyage of her life. Will she be like Jack Kerouac or will she find stability on her journey? Can she truly become a vacilando, one who travels without a destination, or will her own fears, and Athena and Bones, keep her from her destiny?
About-Face Written by Shannon Krowick Directed by Nichole Yannetty Musical Direction by Audra Cramer
An inspiring artist shares her story of self-perseverance and transformation through comedy, characters, and song: "We must see all scars as beauty. Okay? Because take it from me, a scar does not form on the dying. A scar means, 'I, survived'"
Running time is 2 hours with a 10 intermission included.
Festival Stage Manager: Josh Garon Festival Lighting Designer: Joe Cabrera
Produced by the RaW Board of Directors: Maggie Albert, Caralie Chrisco, Kelsey Moore, Lauren Rayner, Bradley Troll, and Joseph Samuel Wright _________________________________________________
