Duct Tape & A Dream Festival: DUCT TAPE PROGRAM
THE 8TH ANNUAL DUCT TAPE & A DREAM FESTIVAL presented by Roots & Wings Theatrical
DUCT TAPE PROGRAM Wednesday, May 6 @ 8pm Friday, May 8 @ 8pm Saturday, May 9 @ 2pm
UVB - 76 Written by Bradley Troll Directed by Daniel LeBlanc Featuring Marc Deliz, Kelsey Moore, and Max Thornton
Several decades ago, a strange transmission broadcasting on a shortwave frequency in Russia was discovered. Today, a young writer thinks that this mysterious transmission, called UVB-76, might hold the answers to more than war codes, alien communication, or mind control; it might contain one final message from his dead father. UVB-76 explores the messages we send, the messages we choose to receive, and the ways we learn to communicate despite our isolation.
Hostage Ballet Written by Katy Koop Directed by Caleb Caudill Featuring Katie Curri and Mike McNulty
Two hostages who are bound and duct taped, try to communicate and ultimately escape their captors. That attempt for escape eventually becomes a dance, an exercise in survival that the hostages Jane and John are players in.
En Passant Written and Directed by Michael Hagins Featuring Benny Acevedo, Erika Bracy-Mendoza, Mateo Ervin, Katt Masterson, Rebecca R. Overholt, and Michael Rehse
Five strangers find themselves playing a billionaire's chess themed game of death to pay off their debts.
Running time is 2 hours with a 10 intermission included.
Festival Stage Manager: Josh Garon Festival Lighting Designer: Joe Cabrera
Produced by the RaW Board of Directors: Maggie Albert, Caralie Chrisco, Kelsey Moore, Lauren Rayner, Bradley Troll, and Joseph Samuel Wright _________________________________________________
