Romeo & Juliet
The story of romeo & Juliet comes to life in the Kentwood Players' lavish production. From heart stopping sword fights, gorgeous costumes and sets, to the intricacies of Shakespearean acting, this play has it all. Our two leads, Romeo (junior K.J. Knies) and Juliet (freshman Dreu Lambarena) have been working on the Kentwood Stage for years in such productions as Annie, Oliver and Into The Woods. These are their first leading roles and they are both more than ready to bring you authentic, believable characters. Amanda Olsen, a long time Kentwood Player, brings us a very funny Nurse, one of Shakespeare's most endearing characters. Jon Myers and Christina Hart are brilliant as the calculating Lord & Lady Capulet. Brent Lyman brings a Mercutio not to be missed. Make sure you see this wildly entertaining work of art.
