Ascension...Stories of Rebirth and Second Chances
Written by the Women of Rising Voices in collaboration with Margo Hall and Catherine Castellanos
How can you rise when you keep getting pushed down? How can your spirit soar when society keeps you locked in a cage? How can you receive justice when you are not considered worthy of it?
Rising Voices is a restorative justice theater ensemble for formerly incarcerated young women 18-25 years old. Join us as these women raise and tackle these tough issues in search of a more peaceful existence.
The ticket sales will benefit Rising Voices' final production in July, performed in collaboration with the young men's theater program.
