Children's Workshop: Nature Mandalas
Create a work of art from natural materials gathered at Bloedel. We will spend some time exploring Bloedel, gathering materials such as rocks, sticks & leaves. Then, using the ground as our canvas, we will create our Mandalas based on the principles of pattern and symmetry. Please bring a basket or a bag to help carry collected materials. Each student's finished work will be photographed and emailed home. The mandalas will remain at Bloedel where they will be enjoyed by other visitors. Students should wear hat/sunscreen and appropriate walking shoes and bring a snack and water bottle.
Ages 10-12: 1-3 p.m.
