Calling all birds of distinction: it's that time of the year again! The Santa Barbara Centre for Aerial Arts has curated one of the most innovative summer intensives to immerse students of all levels into the exhilarating world of contemporary flight Blending six aerial disciplines with contemporary dance and physical theatre, students are challenged with the thrilling development of an ensemble performance highlighting their strengths as both athletes and artists. Each session features one week of technique, skill building, and conditioning on Trapeze, Aerial Fabrics, Lyra, Aerial Sling, Corde Lisse, Invented Apparatus, Contemporary Dance, and Physical Theatre and one week of intensive Choreography and Phrase Development. No two sessions are alike as students work together in an intimate setting to identify their unique strengths, develop roles, and design costumes in the creation of an ensemble performance for friends and family to enjoy. With a maximum of 12 students per session, this meticulously curated intensive will create a solid platform for innovation and limitless creative potential in expression and performance.

In order to honor our traditional intimate training environment, a maximum of twelve students will be enrolled per session.

*A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your space in each summer session, with the remaining balance due on the first day of your intensive.
