A beautiful program of overtures, string concerti and concerti grossi by Handel, Vivaldi, Telemann, Veracini for strings and winds, performed on period instruments by the internationally-acclaimed baroque ensemble, REBEL. Performers are Jörg-Michael Schwarz & Karen Marie Marmer, violins; Meg Owens and Julie Brye, oboes; Risa Browder, viola; Stephanie Corwin, bassoon; John Moran, cello, Motomi Igarashi, bass and Dongsok Shin, harpsichord.
