"No Good Deed" is an exciting new play by Paul Braverman. Frankie Payne (played by Pear Artistic Director, Diane Tasca) is a female private detective, but no lady. It's 1962--Camelot time. But Frankie's East Boston is a grittier place, filled with greed, lust, and violence. A war is going on between rival Irish gangs. A former cop, now gin-soaked but not quite washed up, Frankie gets caught in the crossfire. Pear Slices veteran Paul Braverman has crafted a stunning play bristling with classic film noir wit.
