W.I.T. (Women Inventing Theatre)
Inaugural Women Inventing Theatre Play Series Comes to Write Act Repertory!

Hollywood - Write Act Repertory continues their 2010-11 Mainstage Season with the Inaugural Production of the New Series Premiere of Women Inventing Theatre at Write Act Repertory.

Write Act Repertory's Producing and Artistic Director's John Lant and Ken Cosby proudly announce this newly conceived night of one-acts featuring plays written by seven of L.A.'s most intriguing and talented women playwrights. Produced by Susan C. Hunter and John Lant for a celebrated two week engagement, in Los Angeles, opening November 9th and closing December 18th 2010.

Women Inventing Theatre – W.I.T.

CRAMPED by Delondra Williams is a hilarious take on the monthly feminine condition.

WHITE HORSE by Rochelle Perry takes on-line auctioning to new heights when Deb decides to put her own husband up for bid.

VILLAGE IDIOTS by Lyn Woodward tells a tale of male-bonding as two very different guys fulfill Daddy duty at a local park.

OPHELIA by Meghan Brown imagines what would happen if Hamlet looked up his ex in the afterlife.

IF NIETZSCHE DATED by Colette Freedman delightfully lampoons the woes of speed-dating.

PRINCESS PARTY by Ashley Taylor cleverly exposes the dark underbelly of life as a Cinderella impersonator, when two Disney princesses clash over who will rule the turf on the birthday party circuit.

MOVING ON by Geraldine Athas gently reminds us that old hurts must be confronted and processed before we can get on with our lives.
