Johnson Creek 20th Anniversary Celebration
Johnson Creek Celebration
Thursday, May 21

Social Hour starts at 4:30pm
Join the Council before the program begins to enjoy a silent auction with over 30 items, poster displays, live music, beer and wine (one selection of which is included with your ticket price), and hors d'oeuvres.

Dinner will begin at 6:00pm and will include vegetarian options and dessert.

Executive Director Daniel Newberry will kick-off the event. Watershed Science Director Robin Jenkinson will then provide an overview of the 2015-2025 Johnson Creek Restoration Action Plan. The last Action Plan was created in 2002 and 95% of the projects listed have been accomplished.

Riffle Awards will close the program. Every year the Council's Riffle Awards are presented to individuals and groups whose actions in the Johnson Creek Watershed in the past year best exemplify and support the mission of the Johnson Creek Watershed Council: to promote restoration and stewardship of a healthy Johnson Creek Watershed through sound science and community engagement.

This year's winners include:

Nonprofit/Community Group
Confluence Environmental Center

School/Youth group
Mt. Scott Learning Center

Individual
Kevin D. Hay

Government/Public Entity
East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District

Business
Walker Emulsions

Following the Riffle Awards, a special guest will also be inviting our attendees to become donating members to the Council.

The event will end with silent auction winner announcements no later than 8:00pm. Folks are welcome to continue enjoying the music and drinks until 9:00pm.
