Strange Boys, Natural Child, The Kabbs

The Strange Boys began as a duo (Ryan and Matt) in 2003. Philip joined in 2004 and Greg in 2005. From 2003 to 2006 three LPs and a handful of EPs were recorded and sold at shows, but never released. In 2007, Dusty Medical records released the Nothing EP and in 2008 In the Red records released the Woe is You and Me single. In January of 2009 In the Red records released "The Strange Boys and Girls Club" LP and in early 2010 their second full length "Be Brave" LP was released on both In the Red Records as well as Rough Trade.

The Strange Boys were the backing band for Mighty Hannibal (50's R&B recording artist), were main support for Roky Erickson and the Explosives at the Chaos in Tejas festival, have played South by Southwest the last five years, Austin City Limits Festival (2008), Fuck Yeah Fest the last four years, Music Fest Northwest (2008), Bamalama (2008) as well as the Scion/Vice Garage Festival (2009); shared bills with Daniel Johnston, Black Lips, Reigning Sound, King Khan and BBQ, Jay Reatard, Mika Miko, No Age and BRMC; have toured with Spoon, Julian Casablancas, Deerhunter, Mika Miko, The Black Angels, Fucked Up, The Carrots, Crystal Antlers, and Darker My Love..
