Shockoe Slip: Capital of Cuisine
Join Real Richmond for a 2.5 hour food tour that walks its way through Shockoe Slip and Capitol Square, winding along the Canal Walk and the James River on a 1.4 mile route that takes visitors into several local restaurants and food purveyors. You'll sample what's cooking at five locally-owned spots, such as Bistro Bobette, Sine, Urban Farmhouse Market & Cafe, Mise en Place, LaGrotta, Coppola's Main Street, Europa, and Off the Hookah as you become familiar with this vibrant and varied area full of shops and stories. Besides wonderful food and insider info from chefs and owners, you'll get a taste of the architectural and historical richness of River City.
