The Science of Imagination
In the early days of the new year, fresh resolutions in hand, come be inspired by the science of your imagination. The brain is wired for stories. Join neuroscientist and educational psychologist, Layne Kalbfleisch, as she unfolds the story of how our brains and minds support our natural desire to create and make imagination possible.
The evening will be a combination of lecture and theatre, bringing neuroscience to life in an imaginative way encompassing information about our brains, how they develop and change across life, and the role that stories play in transmitting culture, tradition, history, emotion and in sparking the imagination. In this evening the story will come full circle, from the community, for the community.
