Blood Warrior
Blood Warrior brings their raw and idiosyncratic folk to SPACE to celebrate their new record, Letter Ghost on Immune Recordings. The duo of Greg Jamie (O'Death) and Joey Weiss (Super Monster) turns heartbreak into something elusive and dreamlike while retaining an honest and emotional core. Their music draws from a number of traditional styles, including Peruvian mountain music, American folk music and Native American drumming. They'll be joined by Death Vessel, the nom-de-rock of the Kennebunkport-raised Joel Thibodeau, whose latest Sub Pop release was recorded in Iceland with members of Sigur Ros. Opening the night is the roving and rambling Chicagoan finger-style guitarist Ryley Walker.
