Stir the Pot Dinner: Sunday, April 19 at Death & Taxes
Stir the Pot is a set of two dinners that benefit the Southern Foodways Alliance.
Chef Ashley Christensen of Poole's Diner in Raleigh, NC, will host Ryan Prewitt, chef and partner at Peche Seafood Grill in New Orleans. Ryan was honored with a James Beard Award in 2014 for Best Chef: South, and Peche Seafood Grill was awarded Best New Restaurant.
On Sunday night, April 19, Ryan will team up with Ashley's staff to prepare a five-course meal, served with wine pairings. And on Monday night, April 20, Ashley will host a potluck to thank Ryan for his work.
Tickets for the Sunday night dinner, priced at $150 each, are being sold here. The event will be hosted at one of Ashley's new restaurants, Death & Taxes.
