"LaffSongFest"
The Carl Cherry presents LaffSongFest on Apr. 17 & 18, at 8:00 PM.
Conceived & directed by Michael Lojkovic (who staged 'Shadows Across Land' at the Cherry last October), 'LaffSongFest' is a special offering of Readers Theatre in the satirical form as well as fresh takes on the music of The Beatles.
Much of the material is sourced from McSweeney's Quarterly, a humor repository founded by Dave Eggers, and featuring the talents of Sarah Horn, Skip Kadish, Dania King Ketcham, Michael Lojkovic, Deirdre McCauley and Mary Spence.
Also appearing as The Chicago Els are Jay Burriss, Michael Lojkovic & Kevin Ludwig.
Tickets are $15 & proceeds will go towards the 826 Tutoring Center.
