Juveniles and Internet Cyber Safety
This class will be taught by Detective Mark Pinkard of the LPD Juvenile Detective Division. It is meant for parents of juveniles to increase their awareness of internet and computer usage problems and potential dangers.
The lecture will consist of keeping young people safe from cyberbullying, internet technical terms & abbreviations, social networking sites, chat rooms and instant messaging, blogging and online sexual predators.
