"Under Painting with Alkyds (Sponsored in part by Gamblin Fastmatte")with Cathy Carey
In this workshop you will learn techniques shown in Gamblin's new fast drying oils - called Fast Matte as underpainting for oils. Fast Matte oils stay wet while you're working and then dry overnight. Techniques will show how to choose different colors as underpainting, and how these techniques can speed up your oil painting process. Techniques also shown in Gamblin mediums for oils and the Fast Matte oils. All supplies will be provided for hands on practice. Paints and mediums supplied by Gamblin and brushes supplied by Daler-Rowney. You will be working on a painting during the workshop.
