Prodigal Father
Comedy with a difference, "The Prodigal Father" treats the inability of some men to express their love with a light touch. A sailor/novelist locates the son he hasn't seen in years. The son, an attorney who has not forgiven his father for his perceived abandonment, has worked very hard at being everything his father wasn't - dependable, self-controlled, and somewhat rigid.
