The Stand-Up Seminary - Level 1 - Tuesday - May 2015
The Lincoln Lodge has created The Stand-Up Seminary a beginners foundation course that strives to give prospective performers the confidence and skills they need to begin a career in standup comedy or just have some fun trying a new experience!
The course is founded on the comedy principles of the critically acclaimed Lincoln Lodge, a national leader in
cultivating and developing new comedy talent.
The five weekly 2 hour sessions of this course will focus on:
Joke structure
Development of material
Finding an attitude and persona
Connecting with an audience
Creating a cohesive set.
Class Schedule is as follows -
Tuesday, May 5th at 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday, May 12th at 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday, May 19th at 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday, May 26th at 7:00 p.m
Tuesday, June 2nd at 7:00 p.m.
Graduation show - T.B.D.
Location: Class takes place at SHIEL PARK (see map) and NOT at the Lincoln Lodge!
(NOTE: Minimum class size is five students. If class needs to be re-scheduled a full refund will be issued on May 5th)
REFUND Policy: Full refunds are available any time up to 48 hours before the first class commences. Refunds after that time are at the course administrator's discretion. Once classes have commenced it is NOT possible to get either a full or partial refund. If you are unable to complete the entire course in some extenuating circumstances we can allow you to complete the course at a subsequent session provided adequate space is available. This is subject to course administrator's discretion.
ROLLOVER Policy: If you are not able to participate in class after registration and the refund window has expired you can potentially roll your registration over to the next course session provided space is available. This is subject to course administrator's discretion.
