33rd Evening of Irish Music & Poetry
The HOward COunty POetry & LITerature SOciety will host Dublin novelist Colm Toibin at the 33rd Annual Evening of Irish Music & Poetry. Twice shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize and winner of the Costa Book Award for Brooklyn, he will read from his latest short story collection, The Empty Family. A concert of traditional Irish music will follow by musicians Linda Hickman, Eileen Korn, Brendan Mulvihill, Terence and Jesse Winch with Irish stepdancing.
