Geekapalooza

If you think technical nerds aren't funny then join us for the only stand-up comedy event at the 2014 Atlanta Science Festival. The Geekapalooza Comedy Tour, comprised of students and faculty from Georgia Tech, along with some of their fellow nerds from the Atlanta area brings you a special performance at the Atlanta Science Festival. Join us at the Laughing Skull Lounge, Atlanta's premiere comedy club, for stand-up comedy from 8pm to 9:30pm on Monday March 23rd featuring the Georgia Tech Geekapalooza Comedy Tour (www.humor.gatech.edu/geekapalooza). Doors open at 7:30pm.

You must be over 21 to attend this event. The material in this show is likely appropriate for most teens and all college students, and it will hopefully convince them that you don't have to be boring because you pursue a career in the sciences or related fields. However, because the Vortex Bar & Grill only admits patrons that are 21 years of age or older (and the Laughing Skull Lounge is in the back of the Vortex) only people that are 21 years of age or older can watch this show. The Vortex policy is such that even minors who are accompanied by a parent or guardian cannot be admitted to the Vortex. This policy change occurred on January 1st, 2015 and we of the Geekapalooza Comedy Tour apologize for not catching this change sooner and for any inconvenience it may have caused.
