An Evening with Chuck Palahniuk
The satirist and king of bizarre fiction comes to Atlanta to celebrate the release of his short story collection, Make Something Up, and Issue #1 of the long-awaited graphic novel sequel to Fight Club, Fight Club 2.
"Look at him. He calls himself Sebastian these days. He was destined to be another Alexander the Great. A new Genghis Khan. But Sebastian He calls himself happy." This is how Fight Club 2 begins, the graphic novel-sequel to Chuck Palahniuk's cult favorite book-turned-film starring Brad Pitt and Edward Norton, Fight Club. And now, much to every book nerd's delight, issue #1 of the Fight Club 2 comic is being released, alongside a new short story collection by Palahniuk, entitled Make Something Up: Stories You Can't Unread. Palahniuk's disturbing, spooky, and absolutely captivating storytelling style is on full display in these two new works by the world's most unsettling(-and-we-can't-help-but-love-it) author.
Palahniuk will entertain in an evening of prizes, games, a sure-to-shock story, and an audience Q&A, starting at 7 p.m.
THERE WILL BE NO AUTOGRAPHING AT THIS EVENT. ALL BOOKS AND COMICS WILL BE PRE-SIGNED.
