BOOSTmeUP

BOOSTmeUP aims to create community and connections within the young dancer schools and students of the Northwest. We hope to bridge the gap within the dance community at an early stage of training in hopes that when our young dancers move onto college and professional careers they will have already established deep roots and mentorships outside of their primary school's walls. We are committed to the development and progression of young dance artists and work diligently to provide them with exceptional opportunities to create, perform, and unite.

Washington School of Dance

BOOSTmeUP is also thrilled to host two Seattle professional modern dance companies; badmarmarDANCE and Khambatta Dance Company. These guest performers are sure to delight the audience and inspire the young dancers.

BOOST producer, Marlo Martin, asks "Why wait until adulthood to begin the development of community in the Seattle dance community? Why not create a bridge between the many wonderful schools, studios, and conservatories in Seattle? We can begin by educating our young dancers on the importance of community and offering them the experience of learning from a diverse set of teachers, choreographers, and fellow dancers".
