Melodrama Workout Night
It's a dark and stormy night... and you're in it. And may die... Melodrama joins music and drama using spectacle, gesture, pantomime, bold characters and physicality, heros and villains, the struggle of good and evil. The most expressive of the dramatic forms, we play with high stakes and emotions expressing fully in the body. Unlike method based psychological acting, Melodrama is akin to Artaud's "athlete of the emotions." And with the Grand Guignolers, expect not boring & fun. We do physical theatre and this really is a workout.
Feel free to bring drinks/treats if you would like to stay post-workout.
