Join Too Many Cooks on Sunday March 22, 2015 from 7-9PM and learn how to make the BEST homemade cupcakes. Award-winning amateur chef Jill Strominger will teach you baking basics and share a knock-out cupcake recipe, then show you how to add your own special flavor twists to make the cupcakes your own. All of this will be followed by a cupcake tasting, of course!
$5 pre-sale or $8 at the door. BYOB.
**This event will be vegetarian friendly, but will NOT be vegan or gluten free.
A little more about Jill: She just moved to Columbus from Brooklyn and is an award-winning amateur chef specializing in quirky savory-sweet desserts. Her experimental style has been called "The Culinary Second Coming of Cyndi Lauper" by the Food Experiments, and she has been featured on Metromix, Serious Eats, New York Press, Brooklyn Exposed, and more. In November 2014 she competed against the nation's most award-winning amateur and professional chefs at the World Food Championships. She also moonwalked on the Spike TV show "Frankenfood." (REALLY.) She has also taken dessert courses at the Institute of Culinary Education, and worked at a couple of Brooklyn's best bakeries.
This TMC is certain to be as entertaining as it is educational.
