Date: Third Saturday of every month beginning March 21

Edgar Allan Poe
Played by suburban couples, ladies who lunch, your grandparents, and the young and hip whiling away the time at cabins, fireside, the game of Bridge is an intellectually challenging and enjoyable card game that only requires you to have a deck of cards, three friends to play with, a pencil and a pad to keep score, and a sharp mind.
This series of beginner Bridge Classes is intended for the complete beginner, one who knows nothing, or almost nothing, about bridge. If that is you, sign up.
About the teachers: Marg Murphy took lessons in Vernon after her first a baby, It was in the winter of 1963. She then taught Tom and the two played couples Bridge until they moved to Dalsby Road in 1969, and started up a neighbourhood ladies two table bridge club. A night out for all of the "stay at home moms" that consisted of snacks, liquor and laughter that kept the kids awake, the club still survives with Marg and original member, Albina (who might make an appearance) still playing . Keep this game alive! Bring a friend or three and let's play cards.
Bridge snacks will most definitely be part of this class experience.
