This class is an inside look into artists, their process and their studios including giving students some hands-on art time at the Powerhouse with teachers, Andi Bedsworth and Gail Morton. The class is suitable for any adult interested in art and for teachers who want to incorporate more creativity into their classrooms with special interest for teachers who specialize in art.
Studio visits scheduled include those of artists Bill Beckwith and Ron Dale, Oxford Treehouse Gallery with Vivien and Walter Neill and Taylor Arts with Christine Schultz and Marc Deloach. Art Projects will include making mobiles, mixed media and some fiber art.
Prices: $120 for YAC members, $135 for non-members, teachers who are interested in receiving 1.5 hours of CEUs for this class can pay an additional $20.
