Matt Taibbi and Nomi Prins in Conversation
From award-winning columnist MATT TAIBBI - the writer who shook the financial media world when he famously compared Goldman Sachs to "a great vampire squid wrapped around the face of humanity" in a Rolling Stone article - comes GRIFTOPIA, the dramatic story behind the most audacious power grab in American history.
Before becoming a whistleblower/journalist, NOMI PRINS worked on Wall Street as a managing director at Goldman Sachs, and ran the international analytics group at Bear Stearns in London. Her latest book is IT TAKES A PILLAGE: Behind the Bonuses, Bailouts, and Backroom Deals from Washington to Wall Street. She is a Senior Fellow at Demos.
The discussion will be followed by an audience Q&A and book signing with the authors.
Special musical performance by MICHAEL PENN.
