Tennessee Williams' explosive and deeply moving family drama, winner of the Pulitzer Prize, covers about 2 hours in the life of the Pollitt family. It's the 65th birthday of plantation owner Big Daddy, and his family is in turmoil caused by his ill health and the alcoholic decline of his favorite son, Brick. The production features Doug Kline as Big Daddy, Virginia Barrie as Big Mama, Cat Miller as Maggie, John Helmke as Brick, Jack Bathke as Gooper and Susan Blair as Mae. Directed by Cheryl Doyle.
