I Love Mondays
Friends can come from the most unlikely places. Peggy has been a mother, a wife and a painter. Recently divorced, back at school, sleeping on a friends couch and in desperate need of money, she takes a job supporting George, a developmentally challenged man. Introduced, Peggy and George explore part-time jobs, mall food courts, learn self truths, negotiate the rude assumptions of established society and despite strikingly different life experiences, bond in a remarkable enduring friendship.
The production runs April 16-26, 2015 at Studio 1398 (1398 Cartwright Street, Granville Island) featuring Darlene Brookes, Lindsay Drummond, Jonah Killoran, Angelo Moroni, Lianne Crowe and Adam Grant Warren. Written by Pamela Boyd. Directed by Susanna Uchatius.
