The Streetlight People with Shakespeare's Stepchild
The Streetlight People and Shakespeare's Stepchild are once again joining forces in an evening of laughs, drama, and high-stakes adventure at the Stage Werx Theater in downtown San Francisco.
Tickets are available online for $10 until 4pm the day of the show; they will be available at the door for $12 if the show does not sell out in advance. Kevin Montag will be providing music, and Basel Al-Naffouri will be our lighting improviser.
About Shakespeare's Stepchild:
We are a newly formed theatre troupe performing improvised plays in the style and spirit of the inimitable Bard. After a tremendous run in the BATS Improv "Cave Match" Tournament, we have been performing free, improvised Shakespeare in the parks of San Francisco. We are David Boyll, Peter Dell, Merrill Gruver, Amy Houtrow, Jon Ligon and Lisa Rowland, and we are excited to perform with the Street Light People for one fabulous night of Improv fun.
For more information about us, including other upcoming shows, please visit us at www.shakespearesstepchild.com or follow us on Facebook or Twitter.
About The Streetlight People:
We are a 4-member ensemble with a shared passion for improvisational theater. We met while taking classes at BATS Improv in 2007 and have been playing together ever since.
Collaborative story-telling and supporting one another inspire us. Taking risks together and embracing the unknown thrill us. In practicing these elements of improvisation, we hope to create special moments that we can share with you.
Individually we are Kevin Bohnert, Rish Sanghvi, Sima Sanghvi and Lisa Wang. Together we are The Streetlight People.
