A hilarious dramedy chronicling the emotional story of the difficult challenges a Mexican-American is faced with when family, religion, cultura, and her inner truth come together. Empanada forces us to challenge our own beliefs and see life through the eyes of a woman who is torn between her family, faith, and personal acceptance. Empanada explores sensuality through bilingual poems and short stories, live music and photography.
