Horse & Carriage Day at Boscobel
Whoa! Pull back on the reins...
It's the annual Horse & Carriage Day at Boscobel House & Gardens. Experience the kinds of horse-drawn transportation that abounded in the early part of the nineteenth century. Members of the Mid-Hudson Driving Association will show off their horses and antique vehicles, and the Red Horse Troop Drill Team will provide pony demonsrations. Bring a blanket or chair and sit back and watch a narrated parade of the horse-drawn vehicles, followed by competitive events highlighting the skill of both horse and driver. Visitors can also enjoy horse-drawn wagon rides around the property from noon to 4 p.m. (Included in price of admission.)
Food & refreshments will be available for sale.
